As it turned out, a couple of little changes is all it took and I would like to share some of the things I discovered with you right now.

Tip #1

One of the first steps to take, is to make certain there are no obstructions to stop the cat from getting into the box. The drawback to this might possibly be that the door would have to remain open or you could to cut a pet door straight into the larger door, to ensure that the cat will have access to their box.
